POLICIES

Class Policy

I understand and agree that in order to participate in Hip HopAcro or Competition Team classes, I must either:

  1. Enroll in a Combo Class that includes Ballet and Tap; or
  2. Enroll in both Ballet and Tap classes separately.

I acknowledge that this requirement is designed to ensure that I develop the foundational skills necessary for successful participation.

I agree to these terms and commit to the necessary classes as outlined above.

Attendance

Consistent attendance is crucial to avoid hindering the progress of the entire class. If a dancer arrives more than 15 minutes late, they will be requested to observe rather than participate (based on the teacher’s judgment) for their safety. The sequence of exercises is intended to prepare the dancer’s body for more intense activities. Missing this warm-up could increase the risk of injury.

Make-up Classes

Dancers can make up a missed class. Check with your instructor for the appropriate class to take. If your dancer is going to miss class, an email is appreciated. Credits are NOT given if a dancer misses class.

Inclement Weather

When there is inclement weather, we do follow the Devils Lake School district policies. The decision to cancel class due to bad weather depends on evening conditions and temperatures. We will send an email and post on Facebook. Please check before driving to the studio. If conditions change during the evening hours we will notify parents as soon as possible. We will not make personal phone calls for cancelations.
